Lady Gaga is the face of weird. But now it seems like more and more artists are trying "out weird" her. Actually, I really do think that that is how Gaga decides to express her herself. Like, she's not trying to deliberately be weird. (If ya know what I'm sayin'). "Gaga weird" looks more professional and uniform, like art. Selena Gomez,however...I think that this is the worst effort I've have ever witnessed. It makes me groan.

I agree where you said that it's not much about the song as it is the weird factor in the videos, but I kinda like that it has that weird touch to it, if videos were all normal and made sense, it would just be so plain and unattractive.....

The variety of hairdos/outfits is normal for female pop stars. There are MVs with the singers just mouthing the words in various outfits.
